Here at People at Work Ltd we take your privacy very seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your referral to us from you or your employer/organisation and provide the services you have requested from us.

Types of information we may collect from you when using our website

Information you supply to us

  • If you are just accessing our website, then we do not hold any personal data. 

  • If you log into the myEAP area, then we only know the anonymised number of times that this area is accessed.

  • If you use our contact form to submit an enquiry then information you give us may include your name, company, address, e-mail address and phone number.

Information our website automatically collects about you.

  • Technical information, including a truncated and anonymised version of your Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system and platform;

  • Information about your visit, including what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, page response times, length of visit, what you click on, documents downloaded and download errors.

This information is collected anonymously and is not linked to information that identifies you as an individual. We use Google Analytics to track this information.

We do not rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies. We do need to pass on information such as email/phone/name to associates for referral but we get your consent prior to disclosing this information (please see the section on referrals below for more information)

We will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal data is not disclosed to regional/national institutions and authorities, unless required by law or other regulations.

Your rights – access to your personal data

You have the right to ensure that your personal data is being processed lawfully (“Subject Access Right”). Your subject access right can be exercised in accordance with data protection laws and regulations. Any subject access request must be made by emailing Karen Greenough: operations@peopleatwork.co.uk. We will provide your personal data to you within the statutory time frames. If you have a complaint about how we have used your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Referrals

If you become a referral, we will seek your consent to pass your details onto the Associate, such as coaches, counsellors, mediators or trainers, so that they can contact you for the purposes of your referral for coaching, counselling, mediation or training that they provide.

You can withdraw your consent to us holding your personal data at any time. Email: operations@peopleatwork.co.uk. In any event, on completion of your referral, your data is destroyed at the end of the contract year or 12 months, whatever is the lesser.

You can refuse to consent, although this may affect our ability to manage your referral to us.

If you consent to us holding and passing on your details for any referral you make to us, we will send you a link via email to complete our consent form. If you don’t have email, we can post this to you, with an SAE, for you to sign and return.
